June 4th - Book - Book Chick City Win - ????

On the 4/6/13 I noticed a link on here that said to check winner names on Book Chick City website to see if anyone was a winner as they don't contact you any more. I did so and noticed my name, I was thrilled and emailed them my contact details straight away. Today I'm still waiting for my book. I emailed BCC and asked about prizes to which they forwarded a link saying they have no responsibility over prizes. I'm a little bit gutted really. It might only be a book but I spend time entering comps in good faith that if I win, I will receive the prize.
I'm not going to enter any more from BCC as its far to easy for them to say " nowt to do wi us ". :(

    Could it have been someone with the same name? Other than that, most comps say to allow 28 working days for prizes to arrive, 28 working days from June 4th would be July 12th, so we're still well within that time. Sending out prizes is normally dealt with by outside agencies, not the people running the actual comp.

    Like BarnabySue says, it hasn't even been a full 28 days yet so nothing to worry about.

    I've won from Book Chic City before, the prize took over 2 months to arrive (sent direct from publisher). BCC themselves were pretty unhelpful like you say (they ignored my email completely), but it did turn up eventually.

    Hi, I was lucky enough to be on that list twice, I've not had either prize through so they're just a little delayed in being sent hopefully :-)
    Just become FTBs & Aiming to be mortgage free by 2034 :wink:

    seriously cannot believe that LOL

    oh well, I'm in bed with a chest infection and sinusitis at the moment, so at least I've got something to read :)
