Can i get a refund if the shop lowers price?

Hello,

I bought a Dyson hoover from Comet for £199, a week later I went back in and the price was £40 lower. Can I get a refund? I just remember something about this a few years back, but have completly forgotten!

did you pay for it on your credit card? if so contact them they may be able to help you

I bought a Fridge/Freezer on-line 6 months ago from Currys on-line. A week later it had been reduced further. I managed to get a refund for the difference.

I bought a camera from Currys on-line just before Easter and it went down in their mega offers - and yes I did get a refund.

Would have my doubts about it working instore, but it has to be worth a phone call!

If it's only in the last week, what is their returns policy? If you havbe 14 days and your within it, buy it again, then refund it on the old receipt! Those electrical shops are not very customer orientated, so you may not have any luck asking for a refund of the difference?

You cant legally do it.But you could ask.Assumunig it hasnt been used-but you have had it for a week so..?

If the price went up instead of down will you go back and offer to pay more for it.

If there was a way to get the difference back i can guarantee that you would look into ways of getting the difference back. Or what is the point of looking at this website?

Yes you can get your money back, just pop into Comet with your receipt and they will refund the difference no problem , you have 7 or 14 days to do so cant remember which it is, but i have done it myself recently
