I have friends coming to visit us at our caravan on Sunday, and would love to serve them a samphire and seabass meal.
I can get seabass at a good price (8 for £9.99) near where I work, but the last day I will be at work before Sunday is Thursday. Will seabass stay fresh from Thursday til Sunday?
Alternatively, I could freeze them Thursday evening, and take them down to the caravan frozen on Friday night, leaving them to defrost Friday evening/Saturday in the fridge at the caravan (I don't have a freezer at the caravan, and in any case they would have likely started to thaw on the journey down there anyway).
What do you reckon? Should I take them as is, freeze them, or just come up with another plan?

I think this really depends how fresh they are when you buy them on Thursday, but its still 3 days til Sunday, so I think to be safe I would go with freezing them on Thursday, sounds lovely meal,Slimming World at target0

Definitely freeze them - as quickly as possible and defrost and slowly as possible, IYKWIM. they really are best cooked as fresh as possible.

I would make another plan. they wont last fresh till then, and I find that however careful you are, frozen fish is never as tender afterwards.
And of course, the shop may have already had them frozen.0
