Freezing pepperoni?

Ive bought some pepperoni to put on my HM pizza yummmmmm but theres way to much for one pizza so does anyone know if I can freeze fresh pepperoni or am i resigned to pepperoni in everything for the next few days to use it up

I did try a search (so sorry if this has been posted before) but all I got were posts asking what people could order on their takeaway pizza and something tells me you wouldnt freeze peperroni off the topping of a dominos, the search function is great isnt it:rotfl:

Not sure you would need to.Think of those continental cafes that have it hanging up behind the counter unrefridgerated!I think the high fat content would preserve it.(what do i know!)

Yes you are fine to freeze pepperoni....well i do, my theory being that you can buy frozen pepperoni pizzas :-)...so why not LOL...

I did think that but as this is presliced I wasnt sure, normally I buy that chirozo sausage and find that keeps for ages, but the pepperoni was cheaper as it was on offer :rotfl:

Didnt think of frozen pizzas:o so in that case I guess it would be ok

So do I - in fact I deliberately buy a big thing of pepperoni from Lidl and then portion it up for the freezer
