Hi just after bog-standard white sugar any ideas where it is cheapest?? Iceland maybe? or farm stores?

    I get Sainsburys Fairtrade white sugar, it's right next to the top brands but cheaper, but I'm sure you can get it for less in Lidl or Aldi.

    I get mine at Lidl - 85p for 1kg bag.

    Check the bag sizes though in places like pounstretcher, 99p stores, poundland. Not all bags are 1kg (think they can be 850g or something like that) so not always the best value per kg

    Valid point but 99p store is 1kg for 69p.

    last time i bought sugar farm foods, 1kg bag 2 for £1.50 making it 75p all other shops iceland, lidl, aldi's was 85p believe asda was 92p
