Hi
as the title states our offer came through the post yesterday
Just wanted to thank those who helped the last few weeks and give a little information that may help others in the future.
24th May: Applied over the phone
27th May: Forms posted back with documents (Id and address check, wage slips and sa302)
7th June: documents returned and email asking for proof of deposit. This held things up as we were unaware they were to posted back (had to call up a week later to be told this)
17th June: Proof of deposit posted
21st June: Offer issued (called on the 24th to be told this and received the offer in the post that afternoon)
It seemed we weren't updated throughout the process but it all worked out in the end
I had a LOT of late payments on a credit card which was my biggest concern but these didn't seem to be a problem.
2013 OK OK OK OK OK
2012 OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK
2011 OK 1AA OK 1AA 2AA OK 1AA OK OK OK 1AA OK
2010 1AA OK 1AA OK 1AA OK OK 1AA OK 1AA OK OK
2009 OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK OK 1AA OK
2008 OK OK 1AA OK OK OK OK OK 1AA OK OK
I also had one single late payment on another account from May 2012.
We applied at 90% LTV with no other debt..all credit cards were paid off.
I hope this can help others who may be worried about late payments and mortgage applications.
Good Luck!
