Kit34, that is very true, I hardly ever enter the holiday comps unless they are for families or in the UK. I can't complain, I hit my comping target with several small wins.0

Strepsy I know exactly how you feel! I feel like giving up - but feel guilty if I don't comp with all the hard work I've put in.
I been trying to win for months, months and months... and sometimes I have been comping all day when I can with no success to show for it. The only thing I have won is an avon eye/face thing which I gave to my sister since I'm a male.
I just wan't all my hard work to pay off!!!!
But anyway, I enjoy comping (mostly).0 -
Strepsy you've won over £1,000 worth of prizes
How can you start a thread for the losers of comps? Just keep at it, a big win will turn up eventually. 2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040 -
Thanks for all your lovely and encouraging replies everyone, and I've actually just won a hoody too so do feel bad for having a whinge.
Wishing everyone lots of luck, especially those who've never won or those going through a drought. :TI've been lucky, I'll be lucky again. ~ Bette Davis0 -
I know how you feel. I've been entering comps for about 1 year now and my biggest win was yesterday - a ds lite, which i'm made up about. I think sometimes 'is it worth it' but its something I feel I need to do! I'm not a very lucky person, I can't even win £10 on the lottery! One day though i'll win big, hopefully! :rotfl: :rotfl:

If you don't want them to contact you, How can you winDo you think it makes a difference to your chances if you choose not to let the company and/or 3rd parties contact you?
I always opt out of these things and I wonder if it reduces my chances of winning?
I've entered almost everything on here for the past month or so, but haven't won anything yet.
If I was a company running a comp & someone wanted one of my prizes but didn't want nothing else to do with me I certainly wouldn't let them win,,0
