I need a new Breadmaker

Hi everyone

I need a new bread maker- I have currently been using Kenwood BM450 but after 2 years it has burnt out (a wedding present)

What i would like
Pizza bread mode- we've use this a lot in the past
Compact - my kenwood is huge and had to stay out all the time cause it is SO heavy
Heavy duty- I make 2 loaves a week
Seed tray
I would also like a paddle that colapses- but its not a deal breaker.

Do not require / not fussed about
Price- i know they can be expensive- but i would hunt to get it cheapest.
Fancy programmes- my last one could make cakes and jam- never used them!
Colour

Thank you so much for your help!

I have had two Morphy Richards "paddle collapsing" breadmakers, and they were very good, but the collapsing was hit and miss and the paddle was almost impossible to remove if it was upright.
Now I have the (latest i think? ) Panasonic with the yeast dispenser (so it doesn't ferment when you use the timer) and I would never have a different sort now. The bread is perfect every time and the paddle never gets stuck.
I dont think any of the Panasonics are "compact" though. Mine is enormous.

    Same answer as yesterday's post.

    "Panasonic"
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

I too had a Panasonic for years and would recommend. It finally packed up last year after about 10 years. Still trying to work out if replacing it is really a good investment and genuinely moneysaving or should I save the money and buy decent bread? Still trying to perfect bread making by hand....:rotfl:

Panasonic definitely. I bought my first one from ebay for £30 in case it wouldn't be used - silly me! It was probably about 10 years old then, going by the model number. After a year I decided to treat myself to a new one and I have no regrets (apart from the fact that they now do it in stainless steel, which I would have preferred). My daughter is now using the ebay one every day. :)
