    1. Read 214 books - 137/214
    2. Knit 16 squares 11/16
    3. At least 1 new recipe every 4 weeks – done
    4. Use make-up at least once a week – 25/52 - still playing catch up and will be until the weather is cooler!
    5. Finish sweater – currently on hold, but will start again soon
    6. Finish tapestry (main background colour) – done!!
    7. Finish Map of Durham – so near and yet so far!
    8. Read all the Terry Pratchetts (Discworld ones) – 34/35
    9. Use up all the odds and sods of lotions and potions! - done!

I need to get on and concentrate on the crafting - maybe that will cheer me up and stop me wanting to fall further into the depression pit. With that in mind I aim to work on the tapestry every other day from now on in! - in between I will try and knit :o, hmm getting a load more sampler squares done and maybe starting to stitch them together might be a plan.

Weight has hurtled back up (oh and hello edema again ), I have all the energy of a deceased amoaba when it comes to this at the moment, I want to lose the weight but I am fed up of the struggle and getting nowhere :(

Debt - hmm staying fairly static, again I do well when I don't spend money (lots of lurverly NSDs), but when I do spend I see to go berserk, hmm another thing to flag for the psychologists!

Speaking of which it looks as though things are moving on that front, I got a form to fill out and send back within a fortnight (or they take you off the list!) I did that the same day so hopefully I will hear something in a week or so - still waiting to get the physiotherapy appointment though *sigh*

    Hello Knit Witch, :hello:

Sorry to read that you have been struggling with life recently. :(

Keeping fingers crossed the psychologist's waiting list is shorter than they predicted (one of my nieces is studying in this field - it's taking her years post-grad - as part of the training she's been treating people under supervision for the past year, and will do so for the next two [I think?] until she qualifies. You might be able to get an appointment faster if you offer yourself as a teaching subject? Don't think there's any risk of inferior care as every aspect is overseen by the Professor).

Ok, give up (mind boggled, lol). What are "stitching UFOs" please?

Feel your pain re weight-loss. It's bluddy hard when exercising is difficult-to-impossible, isn't it? <sigh> Wish I knew the answer to that one..

Hmm didn't think of that! The problem is that it is all part of an inter-disaplinery (sp) thingy - so not sure if they actually do that - no harm in asking though!

UnFinished Objects :D, nothing to do with ET :rotfl:

I am back below 20 stone (just! 19 st 13.8 lb :o hardly worth it), the inter-dis thing mentioned above is the obesity clinic, so far not a lot of help! Oh and the pain clinic I start at again next month, I feel the only time I get out is to go to medical stuff :(

Indeed not; worth a try. ;)

Oh, right; I see it now (just shows the inflexibility of m'thoughts - assumed each letter represented a different word :o).

Feel for you, dear Knit Witch; a frustrating circle without doubt. :(
Is there any provision for therapeutic swimming in your area yet?
That would be a good not-quite-medical reason for getting out of the house a bit more often. :)

I am hoping the physio will have something like that! the problem being that I need Dr Warlock to help me get undressed/dressed at the moment :(

  • 1. Read 214 books – 162/214
    2. Knit 16 squares 12/16
    3. At least 1 new recipe every 4 weeks – done
    4. Use make-up at least once a week – 31/52 – still playing catch up and will be until the weather is cooler!
    5. Finish sweater – currently on hold, but will start again soon

Okay this was how my plans stood, so as per an on-line friend's suggestion this is the re-jig for the final three months

    1. Read 214 books – 162/214 (this is staying as I am currently ahead of the game!)
    2. Knit 4 squares (doable I reckon)
    3. Use make up twice a week (now it is getting cooler Mondays and Fridays would be good for this)
    4. Work on the sweater (even if I only get another couple of rows done I will be happy)
    5. Finish 2nd colour on the tapestry

As well as this I need to get my head back around the dieting thing (not lost ANY weight since April Confused) and also my finances (they are seriously in need of some TLC, they are not bad, but I am only really clearing the minimum and for a while I was clearing double that and so need to get back on track with that as well).

I am hoping that the next few medical appointments will actually start helping me, rather than just me turning up, them saying they will help and then nothing happens! I have been going to the obesity clinic since February and so far the only thing they have suggested is the Psychotherapy, which will not be starting until February NEXT year!! :(

Decluttering needs to happen, stitching/knitting needs to happen, diet needs to happen, money needs to be sorted and I am just in a total "meh" mood *sigh*.
    Must use my stash up!
