Transferring pension

I left one section of the railway pension scheme and have now been given details of my preserved benefits.
Lump sum of £5300
Yearly pension of £2150
Based on 10 years contributions.
I have entered another section of the railway pension scheme where my contributions have basically tripled per week due to a larger salary.
I have around 30 years before retirement and wondering is it worth transfering old pension into new one..Thanks
