Hen Party Gift Bags - my experience & ideas

Options
Hi ladies

Just wanted to share with you my MSE hen party gift bags I have been creating for my friends hen do. I wanted to do something from myself as Chief Bridesmaid, to all the girls who are coming (18 of us in total) and thought a nice way of doing this was to do a party kit/survival pack for each person.

I have managed to do the following for £2.03 pp:

Paracetamol: 4p (cut a standard pack up - 4 tablets each)
Lucozade drink: 44p (big packs were on offer)
Mini polo pack: 16p (6 for 99p in 99p store)
Pack of tissues: 8p
Make up wipes: 33p (pack of 20, multipack from 99p store)
Small dairy milk bar: 12p (again, multipack on offer)
Emery board: 6p
Mini Haribo pack: 12p
Pen: 7p (I am making notecards for each guest to write a note)
Alcoholic shot: 25p (4 for 99p - home bargains)
Party popper: 3p
Cocktail parasol: 3p
6 plasters: 6p
Glowstick: 6p
Cotton buds/pads: 2p
Bag to put it all in: 16p

The bags are just brown paper kraft bags from ebay - I am making labels to stick on them to personalise them - printing them off at work (perk of working in the graphics dept!)

I put some of the smaller items - such as the cotton buds/pads, plasters and paracetamol into smaller cellophane bags which I had from making stuff for my own wedding. Means they werent going all over the place!

I am hoping they'll turn out well - I purposely tried not to busy too much crap and I hope everyone will appreciate them - but for £2 a head I thought I did good.

Its amazing what you can find in stores these days!

Hope this gives people some ideas if they are going to be doing their own

:D

Jax that do not disturb sign is great!

I may knock a few of those up for my guests staying at our wedding venue! :)

CompBunny - scouting around for bargains is totally up my street (like many of us I guess!) so I loved doing it. Easy when you live in a town that has low price point stores in it!
