Sorry for a dumb question, but I have an Epson C42UX, would this ink be suitable?

Epson Stylus C42, C44, C46 Compatible Black

i have an epson sylus c46, before that i had the c44 which broke for some reason, not sure if it was because i used compatible cartridges or not?

so why do compatible cartridges possibly damage the printer? Ive heard people say this but not sure if it is true?

I received an email from northdevon computers this morning saying that all the backlog should be cleared by monday, and then orders should start going out the same day. I got my carts yesterday at £1 each saves me a fortune. The email also said that they have big stocks of most items as well now, so me thinking another big order to put in.

Nearly two weeks since I ordered. Another two delivery promises broken and two emails not replied to. What are you going to do about this Mr. Lewis.

Stickems: I emailed your comments earlier to north devon computers to make them aware of what you were saying, i received the following back:
"We try to reply to all emails especially ones that refer to an order not arriving. Regretfully Mr(blanked) (stickems) order was sent 9 days after it was made. There are a couple of reasons for this:
1. The huge demand that was created by our appearance on Martin Lewis Newsletter.
2. The Bank holiday which put us behind by 3 or 4 days and also a missed delivery by our supplier.
We regret the experience that Mr(blanked) (stickems) has experienced and we are trying out hardest to make sure that delays he has experienced do not happen in the future. We do now have larger stocks and i have more staff to enable us to cope with any such future high demands. Our turnaround as of tomorrow should be within 48hrs of receiving the order.
