Debt Recovery - Provide Proof Of Debt Question

Hey guys,
They are trying to send a debt recovery for finance owed..
I purchased goods a couple of years back and took them out on finance (£1500 over 12mths 0%)
There were errors in the paperwork and the finance company refused to give the 'big comapny' the funds due to this, so no payments were ever taken from my account.
Now' big company' are after me with a copy of my signed agreement. However, this signed agreement is not with them, its a signed agreement with GE capital bank. (total different company) I dont owe GE any money.
Where do i stand?

Well I have no idea I'm afraid but wishing you luck anyway!!
I will be watching your thread with interest as I have a similar situation but I have not been contacted yet. (not speaking too soon either)
Fingers crossed for you.0 -
I would send a letter back saying that you do not want to be hassled with spam and say that you would rather go about this the right way. Include a copy of the letter already sent to them requesting your T & C's,You can touch the dust but please don't write in it !
Would you like to speak to the man in charge, or the woman who knows whats happening?0 -
It does sound like the big company has tried to sort it out before it went to the DCA. I dont know where you stand legally with the documents is. You could contact a lawyer to check ?
