Csa Assessments

Options
Hi all
Can the CSA make a assessments on a self-employed person while the year is still being worked.
This happened to me and i appealed the figures but it got turned down and now i have a bill for 1000s and Csa have said i can not have it looked at because its over the 14 days (or 30 ).
Is this correct.does the truth matter to the csa?
My accounts clearly show what i received in that year.
The figure was from a company i did 3 weeks work (CSA contacted that company then i losted all future work from them) for and did not take in the fuel, materials ,lodgeings etc that i spent on that contract.
Thanks

    Very strange.

Given you have been self employed for more than a year the CSA should base their assessment on your previous year end accounts. They can go direct to the Inland Revenue for this info.

Given the rest of the information you have given here I think it's one for the MP to sort out as the CSA appear to be playing bullying tactics.
