Help with a loan please

I currently have a loan with tsb who charge me 21.8% on a £5000.00 loan. I pay £132.27 a month but its crippling me as I am a single parent and on tax credit. Can I get a cheaper loan to pay this one off to lower my payments??? I need help please I cannot pay this off as it stands

Whether you can get another loan is dependant on your salary/money coming in, other debts and your credit worthiness/how the banks see your situation .

How long have you had it? Have your circumstances changed?
What is your income? Do you have any other debts?0 -
If your already struggling to pay of the monthly payments on your current loan, you will have no chance of getting another.
you could try asking your current loan to refinance the loan, but it sounds like your situtation wont have improved from when you took out the loan so most likly wont get a better rate. You might be able to increase the term, which will decrease the monthly payments but increase the amount of interest being paid, and take longer to pay it off
What was the loan originaly for, do you have anything you can sell to make up some extra money until you can pay it off ?
your only other option is to try and reduce your outgoings so you can afford it0 -

I shouldnt have renewed the loan in the first place but my partner had just left and left me in the poo basically moneywise and it helped. I shall ask my bank to help me out by taking it over a longer period. I think that will be best for me. Thanks guys0
