Take it he will be with Barclays also
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

and hes going to work for a bank.....

    Hey Everyone!

    Well firstly I am female..
And second, today I got credit for my car!
I have good credit as I have had credit cards before while traveling and never made any mistakes ect..(Oh and a overdraft, and contract phone)
Also I have some bonds, and shares in a company as well as savings, but trying to keep them for my mortgage, (well the savings) as its a big head start for me and motivates me to keep saving.
I do have qualifications in accounts and finance so aware that no credit is necessarily good credit. hehe
I don't think I really expressed my point, in which I meant would the car company give me the car + finance before I start my new job, so I can drive on my 1st day, which they did, I just had to pay a £600 deposit and my next payment isn't until next month or so, so that's brilliant!! :o:o:o:o:o:o

Thanks for all you're help guys!!

PS - Its not Barclays either Chanz4!

We're trying to say that if you have savings, it's cheaper to use these, than take a loan unless you've got 0% debts.

I've made the mistake of thinking 'this can easily be afforded' before now, and whilst it was paid on time and in full, it could have gone the other way had I not been VERY careful.

As I said, a £500 car would have done your situation for the first year, especially as the one I got rid of had FSH from the main dealer and only 70,000 miles (it was a 'T' plate Passat Estate, that's gone to a young family). I owned it for 6 weeks, but it was absolutely immaculate, and cheaper than borrowing.

Or she just trolled because everyone told her what she didn't want to hear.

I'd be surprised if what she says was true given this is not 2006 any more.
    Thinking critically since 1996....
