Having a baby isn't a disability-in fact if you take more exercise you're likely to be fitter and have more energy so a plus for both you and baby. As for affording it-How about a Boris bike ?I Would Rather Climb A Mountain Than Crawl Into A Hole
MSE Florida wedding .....no problem0 -
I only knew as a girl I worked with lived where I lived yet she got off at Bermondsey and that's zone 2 and jumped on a bus up to London Bridge were our office was and saved something like £60 a month doing it that way.pinteresque wrote: ».
Thanks to AP007 for pointing out that I can use a Zone 2-6 Travelcard on buses.
It's not advertised as I guess they expect you to know this and probably if it was the difference of just one stop the TFL people would just sell you a zone 1-6 ticket. We’ve had to remove your signature. yeah never though of that one but it depends as all things does on where were coning from and going togettingready wrote: »Another trick - look at London Overground.
I work in Zone 1 but instead of going to Kings Cross or Morning Croscent - I take overground and get off at Camden Rd and walk/bus it from there and do NOT pay for zone 1 travel
London Overground is great and covers big part of London - you can go from Stratford (East) to Richmond (west) and it does not cross zone 1 so you do not have to pay for zone 1.
Hope you find a way round this problem. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Friend of mine was doing the same - from Stratford to bermondsey on tube and from there to London Bridge on a bus and buying 2-3 travelcard only.
Very few people know they can use their travelcard in restricted zones on the tube but in ALL zones on the buses0 -
Mornington Crescent that was of course not whatever I wrote above LOl0

OP - where from (station) /where to (full post code, not just the station) will you need to travel when your comnay moves?
Knowing starting/finishing point we can work out a cheaper route for you perhaps?0
