Having moved earlier this year and paid upfront for everything. I am now faced with having to use my CC to put a new motor mover on our caravan.....we are 70 & 80 respectively and can no longer push the van by hand, and also pay for 2 new tyres on our car.
By the time everything has gone through the debit will be approx £1700. I usually pay the CC off each month but £1700 is a bridge too far.
I have gone over our budget with a fine tooth comb and cannot hone it any more, have managed to scrape together £150 a month.
Any extra cash we get, i.e. saving on housekeeping will also get paid to the card.
So I need to keep to the straight and narrow until this is paid off....hence the dairy. I will post the actual amount once the mover and tyres have been sorted.
I have just sorted the tyres having done an internet search, £35 cheaper than I had budgeted for so thats got to be good. Have something on EBay finishing today, lots of watchers but no blooming bids. The item is brand new never been used and quite a bit lower than the list price. Fingers crossed someone puts a bid on otherwise I will re-list it.
