It doesnt actually say whats in the packs so not sure if they are worthwhile or not but could be good if you are a vegan or veggie or considering either.
thanks to angelo on hd.

Most of the freebies on here are for UK only I am afraid as this is a UK website. The odd ones send outside of the UK.I’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Competitions Time, Shopping & Freebies boards, Employment, Jobseeking & Training boards If you need any help on these boards, do let me know. I am not a vegetarian, but I like having vegetarian days once in a while, so ordered too!
Thanks, OP!

It's not, it's just their It’s Time to Go Veggie magazine (5-7 recipes including sauces), plus a flyer on joining Viva & business card for their Vegetarian recipe club. + a flyer saying HUKD's listing was wrong.
..."The Vegan Pack usually contains a 'How to be dairy-free' guide, however it's currently out of stock. ...and the temporary replacement guide by Martin Shaw is all vegan."
Bits of the magazine are dodgy (imho) - not sure how accurate the Vegetarians have less chance of cancers, strokes, allergies, food poisoning, Eczema, premature death & other conditions is, or Milk causing Osteoporoses. Then there's an article comparing societal attitudes to meat eating/meat industry to slavery & Chrissie Hynde comparing factory farming to the Holocaust .
Rest is standard: soya facts actory farming cruelty (some photos - including a knife going into the neck of a sheep) , 'celebrity' sound-bites (bit out of date - still including Heather Mills & front man of a band who split up in 09!), Martin Shaw interview (on being vegetation, supporting Viva!, responsibility, Judge John Deed being socially important, hating celebrity & dumbing down of television leaving people anaesthetised & apathetic. He also hates being served eggs because they're "a chicken's period":rotfl:), health benefits, meat production is killing the planet/going veggie will save the planet..."And suddenly I find myself listening to a man I've never known before,Telling me about the sea..."0 -
If you ignore the "animals are more important than human beings" spiel, then these freebies are usually good for a few recipes and useful links/shops for sourcing vegan foods. However, I would point out that it is misleading (the source, not the OP) to suggest it is for vegetarians. These types of freebies are vegan only. Vegetarians actually consume honey, eggs and dairy products. Vegans do not. (Although honey is a grey area for some.)
If you don't wish to kill a few trees for the sake of copious adverts and biased opinions, the main thrust of these freebies is to assure nervous would-be vegans that there are as many junk food options for them as there are for their omnivorous counterparts - and also to introduce Westerners to the versatility of tofu. (Speaking as an Oriental, I can assure you that not all tofu dishes resemble soggy eggs!) I can also save you additional time by pointing you to the vegan (soya) section of your local Mr T/Mr S, your local Holland & Barrett and, online, Goodness Direct and Veggie Stuff.
There - now you don't need to send off for this freebie at all!(Honestly, if you weren't intending to rely on TVP mince in your spag bol and vegan tv dinners, then the recipes wouldn't help you at all. Unless you're desperate to try tofu choc mousse.)
