Hello I am trying to find out whether I should contact csa and let them know I am getting a pay rise at work? I have been making regular payments from day 1 and am due to get a pay rise at the end of my apprenticeship in the next few months. If the csa are not contacted and then a few years down the line and the ex decides to contact csa and inform them of the payrise can the payments be backdated from the time I got the pay rise or would it be from the time of contact from the ex?

I think its for the pwc to ask for a change in circumstances ,she may well do if she finds out about your wage increasing when you finish your apprenticeship. If you find yourself better off it is nice to have a bit left over to spend on your child yourself. Im sure some better qualified people will be along to answer your query soon.0

There are moral as well as potential legal issues...
Will the pay rise be significant...???
How do you currently pay...??? If by DEO then you have to notify anything above a certain percentage, can't remember what though...
Do you have morals and want to support your child...??? And by that i mean to the best of your ability...!!!
If the answer is YES to any of them, then do yourself a favour, and tell them...! If the answer is NO to all of them, then don't... Only you can decide as YOU have to live with the consequences...0 -
I think it's 5 % before they will make a change.0

I thought it was 10% on a DEO but again, could not be sure... Haha0

Tolerance on CS2 is 5% - if income changes by 5% or more then a new calculation will be carried out.0

just to say morals dont come into laws and have no relevance or bearing, ignore them0

hello i noticed u said you were on an apprenticeship, so are you earning approx £95 a week ? if so as far as i know no csa is owed, if u earn under £100 only £5 is payable in most circumstances)0
