Which mortgage companies use Equifax?

I recently applied for a Mortgage via Platform Home Loans.

Platform Homes Loans made numerous errors whilst processing my application and declined it.

On checking my Experian credit file Platform Homes Loans have left incorrect information including:
  • Incorrect name aliases.
  • Multiple search footprints (with incorrect information)
  • Incorrect addresses (somebody elses address is now reported on my CREDIT FILE!)

I lodged a complaint with Platform and have disputed the info with Experian but this is going to take a while to resolve and I need to apply for a mortgage elsewhere now without risking these inaccuracies will cause a further mortgage decline.

My Equiifax credit file doesn't have these problems so I am wondering what mortgage companies use Equifax rather than Experian?

Is it worth me trying to use a mortgage company that uses Equifax?

Or does it really matter that my Experian credit file is looking tattered?
