Nationwide Mortgage Application - Online, Branch or Phone?

Offer accepted on property, need to get the wheels turning. Have a AIP with L&C to keep EA happy, but want to use NW Conveyancers.
Is there any positives/negatives with either of 3 options for a NW application? Ideally, I'd like to do it online.
My only other concern is that I wish to be able to specify with the valuation is undertaken. I'm still considering whether to upgrade the report to a HB report or to use another independent and I'm unsure when I need to specify this?

I have a mortgage application going through with Nationwide currently, via a broker.
At the point of the broker submitting our full mortgage application once we had an offer accepted we paid the £99 arrangement fee and valuation fee to Nationwide so we had to specify then which survey we wanted.
We are not using NW conveyancers... didn't know there was an offer for this... nevermind too late now! Expect wouldnt have applied to us as going via broker anyway.0 -
I applied online, assuming it would be quicker, as I would have had to have waited until the next weekend to go in store or call. But it didn't work and I had to go through it all again on the phone. then every Saturday, I had to take things into the branch, for them to say 'where am I meant to send it?'. No idea, they just told to take into the branch and they would send it. Branch staff mentioned it would've been easier and quicker to have just applied in store. Dunno how true that was tho...0
