Free University lectures

Not sure where this thread should go or what it should be called...

For over a year now some of the top US Universities have been putting audio and video podcasts into "ITunes U" on Itunes.

If you have Itunes (Download it for free here) you'll see they've added a new link called "Itunes U" in the Itunes Store section

Number 2 top downloads right now - The Geography of World Cultures by Martin Lewis - No relations I assume :D

Universities include:
Arizona State
Duke
Michigan Tech University
MIT
Pennsylvania State
Queen's University
Stanford
UC Berkely
University of South Florida

And on a related note, most university lectures are open to the public. They all are at my uni, for example. So you can go and sit in on the maths lectures, the law lectures, whatever you want. It's polite to let the lecturer know, but you are certainly allowed to be there.

Gresham College in London (by Chancery Lane Tube) exists solely to give free lectures to the general public. They also have video and audio recordings for stream or download on their site http://www.gresham.ac.uk/

Some of the lectures are fascinating and quite accessible.
