OK, start a spending diary and write down absolutely everything that you spend in the next month - keep the diary with you and don't miss a thing - this will help you focus you to see what you are spending that money on. Then you can see what you are able to cut back on without causing you too much pain.
Then have a read of Southernscouser's sticky at the top of these boards and put together a fuller version of the SOA.
Also, put your debts in the snowball calculator, including the car loan, at https://www.whatsthecost.com to see what your debt free date is, thereby giving you a starting point, and also some motivation to bring that debt free date forward.
Good luck, and keep posting to let us know how you are getting on!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Thanx for the reply. The skycard is a cc I wish I could get rid of it.:rotfl:
The £63 is for things like phone insurance and other minor paymnets I will get rid of these within the next few days.
Unfortunately my mum isnt fit enough to drive so I have sole responsibility for the car and I pay the car insurance as a one payment every year I have a saving account for this.
The phone is on an 18 month contract which started in january so I will try and drop it down as far as I can.
I will take the advice of the spending diary its a must for me.:D
Again thanx for the advice keep it coming I will be a regular and keep you guys up to date with how I go.:cool:0 -
Hey "Dan"
Cant say anymore than previous replies..I'm a newbie and only just starting on my road myself
I have this to say though
In my honest opinion
if you cant find the right advice or at least some support on this site then there is no where else to go !!!!!!! :rotfl:
No one judges you..most seem to have been though it themselves and the rest of us are darn lucky that they all kept coming back to help us
good luck in all you do, I speak from experience that just writing it all down can help your state of mind!
onwards and upwards!:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:SarahShattered wrote: »Mrs B you're a legend.0 -
