Philosophy is not the most marketable degree- unless you can combine it with something else like Business Studies.
I would argue differently.

And:

So most didnt get a job within a year (albeit this was 2009).
2nd link is about chap refuting perception that Philosophy is useless. So he would also agree that there's a perception that Philosophy is useless (otherwise he wouldn't feel need to refute it).
Its not as difficult to find work as some degrees, but if you Google least valuable degree subjects, on many lists Philosophy will appear.
So I'm not saying that Philosophy isn't valuable, but that there's a perception that it isn't useful and its this perception that you may find yourself bumping heads with.
More than anything this means you should aim to come out top (or near) in your class.0
