Me and my partner are looking to buy our first home he has a perfect score I have to defaults showing both my defaults are paid and satisfied and we have no outstanding debts but still struggling to find someone to lend us 60,000 for a home. We have 20,000 for deposit and my dad is willing to guarantor us for added security due to the defaults which where both for small amounts! My credit score is 649 which is poor , we were declined for a low score .. Which was mines. Does anyone think we have a chance of getting a mortgage??

Yes, subject to the detail you have a good chance.
You will need your Experian, Equifax and Call Credit files and a decent mortgage broker.
Where have you been declined so far and do not keep chancing your arm on the highstreet as this may end up counter productive.
