Manufacturers of solid oak dining table?

Can anyone recommend or tell me of anyone who they know makes/manufacturers a good quality solid oak dining table and chairs.
Im looking to buy one and if I can buy it cheaper by getting it made by a quality tradesman I would be delighted, OR go direct to a manufacture - worth a try at least!
I live in Tyrone, but would be happy to look anywhere if the price was reasonable.
As always thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers

You could try this crowd in Crumlin http://www.yell.com/biz/dovetail-furniture-co-ltd-belfast-901357404/
All the others seem to be across the pond.0 -
We used these guys on the mainland for the 12 seater we got.

Solid oak, 12 leather chairs and wasnt a fortune.
They delivered it to us via one of their own lorries too, rather than by courier. Apparently they do a lorryload of deliveries to private individuals around the country here every week or so.0 -
Ours came from an eBay shop called Fusion Furniture Store about 2 years ago.
It wasn't the cheapest we've found, but it has lasted well.

Technically, to be a 14 seater, you need seats, and that adds £1400 to their price.0 -
Point taken but it's still cheap for such a massive 10ft dining table.
I doubt if any carpenter could make it for that price or build a chair for £50-£100. but I'm sure someone will prove me wrong.0 -
If you are in Tyrone this guy is not too far away and makes excellent quality furniture at very reasonable prices - have bought a number of bigger items including at 8 seater dining table from him:

Well presumably they can and make profit, otherwise they wouldnt be doing it. It seems a similar setup to the crowd we used on the mainland and similar prices.
I doubt anyone comes along and just orders the table, so they know they're going to get the order for all the chairs too.0
