Possession, I can only think money and false documentation, if the Interpol watchlist is still running. If genuine passports are used they should be picked up as Border Contol links to the watchlists.

Hi Pops Wrap up warmly and take care while out at your concert. I hope you enjoy it :) Margaret

    Thank you...
It was warmer in Durham than back here. It was well attended and the theatre/performers were pleased. The buses ran well and the difference today to yesterday was amazing, home safely and resting.

I'm staying home for the weekend now and I'll do my repairs then too, they won't take long to do.

Treated myself to a square tin to make...square cakes and square bread:rotfl:I've found that the flora stuff in a bottle is great for freeing items from tins and you use so little. So far I have not used the paper liners I purchased.

I'm now following Possessions slow cooker board on Pinterest:)
    so many ideas.

Its not very nice out there but so far I still do not need the heating on...

FAIRYPRINCESSK, why are they paying all that money and then not turning up for lectures? Is it the main city university or the metropolitan you are at?

POPS: One more saying, please go and get checked out.

Does anyone know if the water companies do any of those deals for people with disabilities who are not on water metres? Was it social tariff or something?

  • Hello all,

Haven't been in for a while so distressed that so many people seem to be having so many problems! I wish I had a magic wand and make them all go away! Special mention to Burtha - was in tears reading your posts!Stay positive and keep that humour cos I'm sure you will need it ! Pops - you take it easy now and I agree that you should get checked out. Mrs LW - your words of wisdom and encouragement inspire me, I want you to be my mum:).There are too many others to mention but my best wishes and hugs to you all!!
As for me, me and LO have one heck of a cold,so lots of cuddling each other. Heatig is on, !!!!!! the expense. We need to be warm, boiler been serviced so should run more efficiently hopefully. Winter coats for family were bought back in Summer so probably cheaper than buying now and I am getting the SC out this weekend now the weather is getting colder.

    Keep the faith,

    SOM
  • Esther--I only teach seminars right now but one day, hopefully in the next year or two I hope to be a real lecturer:) I'm at the main uni. I don't know why they haven't turned up--its been two weeks like this with this group now. Sometimes you just get groups like that. Personally, I turned up when I was paying for it in the US!

I didn't read carefully enough, Pops. I presumed you'd been cleared to come home. Another voice! GO AND GET CHECKED OUT! (Sorry, I don't like to shout, but I'd hate to think of you not getting medical care when you need it).
  • P.S. for those of you near and Ald! lots of ingredients for Kez's veggie hotpot are on supersix---potatos, swede, carrots and leeks. They have onions as well, but only the posh ones on supersix. I stick to the cheaper ones! Parsnips as well.
