Options
Hi all,

I am after some genuine HP Ink Cartridges #344 & #100

Is Tesco the cheapest place for them?

Thanks

i normally get mine from https://www.cartex.co.uk they are usually a reasonable price
have been using the eurojet brand which seems to work fine with my hp printer

try using a price comparison site to hunt down the cheapest

If you do a google search you will be able to get them online cheaper than the large supermarkets.

Even "remanufactured" (ie. refilled) HP and Lexmark cartridges will be "genuine". As HP and Lexmark cartridges have integral printheads, they can be (and are) patented. Therefore, no-one else can make cheap copies, like they can with Epson, Canon, etc.

I'm not quite sure how accurate that is. I can take my cartridges to be refilled at many places, and in each place they will use a suitable but different ink - that is not genuine...or at least the ink isn't and that is what matters.

Have you tried Costco - they are always much cheaper for HP than anywhere else I've found
  • We have a COSTCO near here. I will check them out as I just bought a refill pack on line and it was awful to use, very messy, so I ended up buying an original at about £12 but they gave me £5 back on the refill thing. HP cartridges contain such a small amount of ink. Should have checked all this before I bought the printer!

I have just bought some from cartridge people. Although not the cheapest to start, by going through google checkout, the £10 reduction made them v competitive
