Bargain Crazy - No 60% Discount Applied

Placed an order for Bargain Crazy last week to take advantage of the 60% off. I know that they don't apply the discount at order entry but do so when they debit the card. Only thing is THEY HAVE CHARGED 100% on the card. This isn't "just" a pre-authorisation amount - it is a full blown debit on the statement made 5 days ago.

Have been overcharged £51.60

Anyone had any experience of this ? I put the discount code in the box and this appeared on the order confirmation screen. Trouble is I never get any confirmation email off them !

Their site has now "closed down" for a while so don't even have any contact details for them.

I wouldn't mind but I am always singing their praises......

Thanks guys.......I have placed a few orders in the past and always trust them to charge the right amount. It's always a bit annoying when they "pre-authorise" the full amount of the order (meaning it is ringfenced in your account and can't be spent). But now they have done the full debit on a £90 order. At least I have a copy of the order number (though not the confirmation email that never comes).

Hi there, same thing happened to me and since placing my order at the end of May I've tried calling, emailing them but to no avail. They didnt respond to my emails and now the email address isnt working. Then I spoke to someone who didnt help. The second lady did help and said she would apply the code but she never did. Can someone please help!!
