I will not take no for an answer - I will clear you debt!

So as my name says - Time to rebuild! As the title says - I will clear the debt! Its going to be a long journey but I am going to do it!

A bit about me - the wrong side of 20, a mum, a partner, a creative, anxious and shy debt ridden girl! Total debt around £6800! Ok so not huge huge amount but enough to make me ill - with Fibromyalgia. I have a hoarding problem, an overeating problem which has resulted in being 3 stone over weight and issues with motivation.

I suppose this diary will be a combination of debt clearing, soul finding, weight loss and general life changing. Finding myself again to make me a better mother, a better partner and overall a better human being.

I know it wont be easy, i know its going to take ages but small steps and lots of changing. I need to look into ways to make extra money, ways to save where I can, and ways to find me again.

I have mucked up, I was on a DMP but I broke it by not paying a couple of months, and now I have found it hard to get back on to it. I know I need to find out all of my direct debits etc and then budget properly. I need to sort my wages out as they are all over the place, I dont put expenses in on time, I dont put receipts in and I just skimp and scrap robbing peter to pay paul.

My house is awful, its full, cluttered and unmanageable. It stresses me out, and everything that is going on has given me fibromyalgia along with a few other things. All this which I need to address. I have been thinking about looking into therapy also to learn how to cope.

Food - I dont spend huge amounts but what I do spend is never enough to make substantial meals and seem to be always round the local shop topping up which costs a fortune and is not healthy.

I am always tired, and find it hard to manage my pain. But know if I lost weight, started doing some exercise and ate healthily this would help me.

I am lonely, as I carry so much around and just dont feel I can trust anyone to let it all out. I suppose this i why I am here.

So this is my journey!

Just wanted to say good luck! Sounds like theres a lot to work on, but you've made the decision to do it, so now is the time to start.

    Again, good luck!
  • It's been a downward spiral of overeating, under achieving and a lot of arguments over what I should or shouldn't be paying with OH - I hate money! Onwards and upwards!
