Please say hi if you're passing through
Just cooked up a humungous shepherd's pie for the week, so that should see me and DD through plus some pasta and prawns and that good old stopgap, fish fingers. Been a little more spendy than usual, but not too bad. £55 shop in Lidl (Dad and partner here for weekend) and we finally put fish in the tank (6 for £15!) and bought some bits online (net, fish poo syphon, bloodworms) for the princely sum of £8.30Used DH's starbucks vouchers from his work health insurance to get hot chocs all round for no spend.
MSE jobs done:
Listed few bits on FB and Gumtree
Applied for water meter (estimated saving £130/year)
Batch cooking
Set up First Direct account, which is going to be our savings pot, with (ideally) all my salary going in to be saved for various periodic expenses - haircuts, pressies, insurance, hols etc.) Unfortunately, we didnt't get the £150 bonus as we can't shut the old joint account, but may switch in my personal account if that'd work
Health-wise managed my first run in quite a while (have signed up for the Round Sheffield Run, 26k in June, so really need to shift my !!!!!). Only 30 mins but just needed to do something to get going. Should be easier next time.
Off for DH's famous roast lunch, then suspect it'll be sofa and film time. Love cuddling up the 3 of us in front of the telly as we only get weekends together:)
Hope everyone's having a great weekend0 -

I'm here too :hello: just caught up with your diary.
I started a diary and then disappeared for a couple of years when I fell off the money saving wagon! I came back last July and I've stayed and I'm actually paying stuff off now :T I think keeping a diary must work
