Long overdue remortgage

We have been ticking along on the Co Ops SVR for a long time and paying much more in interest than we need to, so its time to remortgage.
Our house is worth 180K and we need a mortgage for approx 79K, so around 100K in equity.
We both have a good credit rating and earn a good wage.
Ive been looking at tracker mortgages, but there is sooo many options. I noticed a Tesco bank offer with a good interest rate, but there was a £995, and i think it only lasted two years.
I bank with the co op and they currently have ::
a Current Account Exclusive Lifetime Tracker
(Bank of England Base Rate plus 2.39%
I know they have had some issues recently, but this seems a reasonable deal.
Just wanted to hear peoples thoughts and ideas??
Thankyou

HSBC appear to have some good deals. but their fees seem quite high0

Remortgaging with your current lender is probably a good idea and the chances are that there will be no fees to pay as you are already with them.
We did this with Bank of Scotland after feeding all the options into a mortgage/fees comparison site. Also as our finance history is still in a state of repair they were not concerned as the LTV was more than adequate and we are both in employment.
I wish you luck as trying to compare the rates versus the fees of all the different mortgage providers is a nightmare.
SwampyExpect the worst, hope for the best, and take what comes!!:o0
