Hi there muffinman7,good to see you back.Congratulations on your new grandson.
I've just added up my nsds so far this year-114.I think that in January I was still including any budgeted spends as nsds, but I would say that I've still managed over 100 so far.0 -
July is the busiest month of the year for birthdays in our large extended family so will struggle to match last month's target. So I am going for a modest

Morning All,
Can I please be put down for NSD#15. I'm really going to try and see if I can get to target this month.
I have a few evenings out planned and one or two other bits and bobs but am determined!
Also, the canteen at work is closed for the summer (I work at a college) so that means taking food to work which should mean saving the budget I have for lunch. I'm going to see if I can physically save some of that money. Oooo, the things I do for kicks!! :-/On target for mortgage freedom September 20230 -
Hi everyone  and welcome to July
Sorry, I’ve been neglecting you all over the weekend, busy with sorting June out, so am going to say hello properly now
cardi80 - :hello: and welcome out of lurkdom. We’ve all been in the “spent too much this month” position so you’re in the right place. All signed up and ready to go now!
Sparkles87 - :hello: and welcome back. I’m glad the email inspired you to return and try again. Hope the little one gets on OK with nappies. All signed up and ready to go now!
Helyonnaise - :hello: and welcome, good to have you on board and glad you’re keen! You’re in the right place to help with your “naughty” spends, we do a good line in kicks up the bum and Jaws is always around to deter the use of any banned “f” words.... “f” as in fail of course!! Good luck, you can do it!:T
mismatch - :hello: and welcome, don’t be scared, we’re a friendly bunch. Meal planning is definitely the way to go to avoid too many unnecessary spends, I’m sure ETO would second that. You can check in whenever you like but most of us find that a daily check in to report either spendy or non-spendy days helps to keep us in check. See how you get on and good luck, you can do this!:T
ModestyB - the holiday sounds lovely and, as Nargle says, you have every right to spend as much as you want, 40 years of marriage is brilliant, congratulations to you both :happylove
zenshi - target changed to 20 and good luck with the yomping!! :T
Sazzie - hope you enjoyed the F1 over the weekend, a very exciting race! Target changed to 23, good luck! :T
hummingbird - :hello: and welcome. You’re all signed up now so happy NSD hunting! :T
debtfree future - packed lunches are a great idea to help avoid spending, have you had a look at the thread on here, it’s got some great ideas
Candlewick - welcome back, all signed up now and good luck. The updating is fine, it’s a pleasure and it keeps me in check as well, but it’s nice to be thanked so thanks for the appreciation xx:A
beach-holiday - :hello: of course you may join in, you’re very welcome. All signed up for your 10 NSDs now, you can do it, we’re with you all the way. Good luck.:T
Beanie - welcome back, the place wouldn’t be the same without you. Same comment as for Candlewick re the updating, but thanks for the appreciation, it does help xx :A
Nargle - I was wondering about BM last week as well, and also Cheryl. Haven’t seen either of them for a while. I’m guessing BM is having problems with her mother again
muffin man - lovely to have you back again, we’ve missed you, and there’s no need to apologise to us for anything. Congratulations on your new grandson, that’s lovely to hear:T:T
jaxsmar - blimey, that’s a busy month birthday-wise:eek:. Happy 50th in advance to you and your twin, I hope you have a great time. :j
Red - welcome back, all signed up now. Hope you have a good month and your dongle behaves itself
Kathy - well done for saving up for your holiday, that’s brilliant:T, but eeek to the rest of the month:eek:, you’ve got some serious spends coming up!
MissE - it’s a pleasure, a bit like old times for me as I used to run this challenge before Freeby:D. Hope you have a lovely holiday :T
lovefullshelves - :hello: and welcome, of course you may join us, it’s good to have you on board. You’re definitely in the right place to be kept on track, there’s plenty of encouragement available here. Good luck, you can do it!
marmite - woohoooo to all the NSDs you’ve nabbed this year, brilliant :T
flowerofscotland - another busy month birthday-wise, July’s a very popular month! Good luck, you may need it!:T
liltdiddy - of course you may join in again, you don’t have to ask, you’re part of the gang now. Another spendy month ahead for you, good luck!:T
... and kerri... you're banned for mentioning the "C" word (or the "X" word in your case) in June!!!!!!!!:p:p :rotfl:The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time
