I used to use the Waitrose Canadian bread flour, not the cheapest option, but it certainly works and I found it fool proof, always a good loaf from my Panasonic

I now use Lidl BM flour which gives good results 98% of the time, with the odd duff one, reason unknown

Given choice & budget I would always use the Canadian flour

Sainsbury's canadian flour is good - always had good results.
Now to find a cheaper brand of same quality and some half decent yeast and i'll be laughing!

Costco's large sacks of white bread flour are from Canadian wheat and I have always found it excellent. I believe it is a very 'hard' flour containing lots of gluten and that is why it makes good bread.

I used to always use the Waitrose Canadian flour, but now use the Sainsbury's Finest. It is a bit cheaper than the Waitrose flour and gives excellent results.
