While this is good news I'm still not sure if I'll be buying it, to little to late tbh and as others have pointed out, nothing really to stop them reintroducing the awful measures once they have our money.

First of all, Hi all i'm new, forgive some of my grammar as i'm on my iphone, anyway to my point.

Did someone say they look like they don't have a clue what they're doing?
Unfortunately Microsoft knew exactly what they were doing with they're policies on used games, always connected etc.
They were banking on Sony doing exactly the same thing but it seriously backfired, this is why your now seeing probably the biggest back track you'll ever see in the gaming industry, I think the last I heard of a survey on Amazon Pre orders had the PS4 beating the XBoxone by 19:1, Microsoft obviously realise they are being massacred on the console Pre orders and have had to completely change they're policy to stand a chance against Sony.
They have truly shown what they think of their loyal customers and I hope that nobody now decides to cancel their PS4 Pre orders and give their money to a company which has disregarded the loyalty those customers have shown them.

End of the day, the PS4 is still cheaper and that is what will appeal to a lot of customers in the market to buy next gen consoles.

I still think the PS4 will do much better than XBone.

No matter what you believe about customer feedback, or U-turns, I think it's safe to say that if Sony had been bringing in the same things with PS4, then both companies could have sat back and said 'suck it up!'

I'm really happy they've done a u turn on their DRM and always online requirements but for me the damage is already done. I won't be buying an Xbox One, I'll get a PS4.

Though it is best to wait in my opinion as there's always teething problems with new tech. I learned the hard way by suffering the red ring of death on my launch version xbox 360.

Im getting both and was not too fussed about the online 24/7 as all i do is play online But i am glad they did a u-turn on selling games as once i get bored of a game i like to trade it in and get a new game to play.

In what way?

I can't see how it could possibly benefit them in any way.

Even thought they have made the U turn, they have still alienated a lot of people, even some long time Xbox supporters are still staying with PS4.
