Liz Earle Cleanser - skin tingling, is this normal?

Hi, I called into John Lewis today and got talking to a lovely Liz Earle assistant who offered to cleanse my face with the cleanse and polish to see if it suits me. My face felt great once she had used it, really good. She also applied some of the sheer skin tint which is also nice.
However, now my skin is tingling a bit. She said it is for sensitive skin like mine as Liz Earle herself has eczema.
Has anyone else used this and found it OK or are other cleansers better to use?
I am usually a face wipes kind of girl by the way.

Could be the makeup which is causing the problem not the C&P. There should be no tingle. But quite a few cannot use it now(they changed the ingredients and added coca butter a cheap ingredient which many cannot use).
I have mild roseaca and cannot use C&P, I get the red rash thing after a few days.
That style of cleanser might not suit you? Others Boots,Superdrug etc make the same type much cheaper.
I used Elemis Sensitive Wash which does not annoy my roseaca.0 -
I used to use Cleanse & Polish and my skin never tingled so from my experience it isn't normal to tingle.
I would guess it is the skin tint that is causing the tingling as that sits on your face while the cleanser is washed off, but I'm no expert! I tried the skin tint once but didn't like it as it felt heavy on my skin but maybe that's because I'm used to mineral foundations & haven't worn liquid foundation for years.0 -
I have sensitive skin and tried the C&P but found it too rough for my sensitive skin to use every day. I liked the cleanser but removing with water and a cloth seemed to "strip" my skin and left it quite dry. I tend to stick to a cream cleanser removed with cotton wool. I think if there is tingling then perhaps those products are not right for you.0

Try bioderma sensibo cleansing water. This is the only cleanser my skin tolerates0

Both myself and my cousin have sensative skin and we both use this product on a regular basis.
We recently reviewed this product on our blog beautiesunlocked.blogspot.co.uk
I would say this tingling is not a normal reaction so I would try something else.
