I would look into whether there would be a charge if you paid it early in one lump so rather than monthly. My last loan i paid off in one and it was 2k cheaper when the interest ws taken off.

Music lessons are a good thing and i would definately carry on with them this will take them through life. I played the drums, cornet and a little bit of piano. My cousin is the world champion soprano player. Music is something i turn to when stressed. I should have gone to uni to teach but i never did.

How long is the childrens plan for?

Sorry for being so forward but...

How much would he have to pay his employers as at present they are gaining him at a bargainous price! Is your OH fully qualified or is this his "training" rate until he is qualified?

you seem to have a monthly surplus of over £1000 per month...is that correct? if so you can clear the CC is three months.

I dont undestand the childrens saving plan... never heard of anything where you loose the money you have saved if you stop saving... can you post details of this ... company and product name .. it seems completely bizarre to me.

some of the figures seems a n bit low to me ... car repairs etc 10 i.e. 120 per annum for two cars.. does ths really cover MOTs, car Tax, allownace for the odd tyre/repair etc?
similarly presents/birthdays seems very small for a family of four.
do you have no work related costs .. lunches/coffees etc
    or any socialising costs
    or holidays.

as others have said life insurance totalling 150 a month seems very high .. does this include unemployment/accident / illness insurance ... if so do your need
