Taste testing

Hi all I need some advice.
Iam disabled and claim DLA, mobility, care and income support but a friend of mine has offered me a taste testing for a big company where we try out drinks and fill in questionnaires, it pays 8 ph and is about 1 and half hours long, will I have to notify anyone for me to do this or is it illegal and I will lose my benefits?

If it goes against what you have put on your claim they will say that your situation has improved and reduce or stop your benefit.

I.e. if you claim DLA because you can't leave the house due to panic attacks or walk unaided and you have to walk around independently at this job they will see that as a change in circumstances.

It's best to contact them to make sure.

it may come under permitted earnings, which I think is about £20 per week.
