Clearance shops for Good Quality Dresses

I am wondering if there are any clearance shops for quality dresses suitable for the mother of the bride. Am going to be visiting London, Liverpool, Glasgow, Aberdeen and the Lakes over the next few months so can make a detour to somewhere near there. Finding the prices rather high but not keen on going to normal high street in case someone else has the same outfit on. Thanks
