i'm doing good looking fo a new hobby involving excercise was thinking rock climbing but it is a tad expensive i also fancy hill walking but it is a tad expensive too so any ideas would be welcome...i have to admit i give him them when they do get too heavy just hand them over and say its your turn you hold them0

i'm near the countryside but was looking at boots obviously i go to the wrong website but the ones i was looking at were extortionate then theres things like maps back packs etc it looked dear to me when i added it all up0

Well a lot of those things are expensive, but multipurpose. A good backpack (not a HUGE one) can be used for trips out etc. Good walking shoes never come in wrong. They needn't be expensive if you look for sales etc on the internet.
