That may be your problem, particularly if it's a national chain. They tend to be less experienced as the minute you can, you get out of there as the pressure to sell tied insurance, conveyancing and survey services, as well as only having a limited lender panel and the "lifetime" fee charge makes the job very difficult.

Are you receiving a whole of market service, or is this an advisor with only a limited panel?

Is there a problem scoring you in terms of the Northern Ireland address assuming you've been in England less than 3 years that is? I've not had anyone from NI so I do not know if this causes a scoring issue.
