the phone can be unlocked but from what i remember, it is a little tricky so would be best taken to the market or something to be unlocked on a mobile phone stall for about a fiver

It won't be refurbished, they would have to state that.
It was selling on this site last week for over £100 but they have reduced a lot of stuff, including the mp3 players, did you notice the sanyo mp3 for under £8
