Second Hand Books near Birmingham/Solihull
HI
Does anybody know of any second hand book shops near to Birmingham or Solihull or surrounding areas that buy second hand books. I have boxes of them, and find that they don't do that well at car boots. Any ideas for any shops that will buy them from me in bulk would be great.
Thanks

Birmingham market may have a second hand book stall, but I doubt if they would give you much for them. My mom sells some of hers on Greenmetropolis.co.uk (sp?) so could give them a try.0

There is one at the top of Digbeth high st just before you get to Selfridges. It's near to 3 bus stops a green building next door to a papershop, try there.0

Has anyone tried Play.com for selling books? What were your experiences of it?
I had terrible trouble with Play selling my items twice and not even bothering to tell me when i had a sale, I eventually closed my account. I have around 200 listed on Greenmetropolis and sell about 1 every 6 weeks. For real sales you can't beat Amazon, if you find you can't cover your costs on there then the book is not worth selling and best just taken to a charity shop.
There's an Amazon thread here you might find useful:
