Welcome to Debenhams;)

E.G. Some (the odd 1 or 2) items will show as 76% off, this is an extra 6% discount, but that's 20% off the sale price...EG Original price £100, 70% discount off this = £30. Then 20% off £30 = £24 (which is 76% of 100) so yes there are the odd 20% discounts.
Then there's their vastly inflated RRP's so it looks like your getting a real bargain.
That said I do get a lot of stuff from Debenhams, but I pay little attention to the RRP's.

Bought a Smoby Bon Appetit Kitchen (a toy kitchen) for £22.40 today.

This was actually priced at £28 yesterday, so I'm glad I waited!

Just type 1710109968 into the search box, or Smoby kitchen - tried posting a link twice but for some reason I can't get it to work!
