I know this is an odd question, but can you eat frozen cheesecake?? I made a peanut butter cheesecake today, it said to freeze overnight then serve with hot chocolate sauce, but it didn't say defrost before serving! Am i being totally dim? Should i defrost it first? Or shall i serve frozen?
Please don't shoot me down for my dim question
Also, sorry if I posted in the wrong place

Its not a dim question, but an omission in the recipe instructions.
I agree with Pigpen, defrost it first.
But to answer your question, you can and I have/do, but that's because I'm impatient0 -
I now want this for breakfast. Cornflakes just won't do now. Can you post the recipe please?

I like to eat cheesecake that's more frozen than defrosted; I like the firmer texture
Except for a baked one though; I prefer that cold but not chilled.
Lemon or chocolate tarts are good frozen too0 -

Lashings of really hot chocolate sauce will mean the cheesecake will no longer be frozen by the time it reaches the table0 -
If you google 'frozen cheesecake' you will find a number of recipes. The ones I looked at suggested that the cheesecake be left to stand for 15-20 minutes after being taken from the freezer. You can pick your friends and you can pick your nose but you can't pick your friend's nose.0

I like it frozen though it is easier to eat defrosted.Paid off the last of my unsecured debts in 2016. Then saved up and bought a property. Current aim is to pay off my mortgage as early as possible. Currently over paying every month. Mortgage due to be paid off in 2036 hoping to get it paid off much earlier. Set up my own bespoke spreadsheet to manage my money.0
