PPI Help Please
We have complained to Picture Financial about the PPI because we didn't realise it was a 5 year policy and thought it would cover the full term of 20 years.
Our complaint has been investigated by them and because they had an initial phonecall with my husband stating that the policy would only run for the first 5 years they have dismissed our complaint.
Today I got the recording of the phonecall and the Picture advisor said "The policy will run for the first 5 years initially and a monthly one will come in after that"
I rang them today for clarification about the "monthly one" and apparently they are looking at still providing cover on a monthly basis after the initial cover runs out but at an extra cost of course. To be honest, it was all a bit vague.
I still feel very strongly that Picture haven't been clear about the 5 year term of cover so I would like to take this matter to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Do you think it is worth pursuing in view of what I have said?
