Writing a book advice

Hi I'm in the middle of writing a book, I've written the outline of the book( 25 chapters and know roughly what each page will contain and how the book , starts , the middle and the end) I want to get this book published whatever it takes it's something that I've always wanted to do, I'm just doing a bit of research to make sure that all the dates and factual locations fit in properly.
1) What should I do write the whole book and self publish it -and send it to publishing houses once the book is complete.
2) Or should I write the first 3 chapters , find a publisher in the artist and writers yearbook that I think is best for my work and send a manuscript of to them.

Other questions should I send of the manuscript to more than one publisher, should I carry on writing the book or wait until I hear back and start on other manuscripts for other books and send them of to different publishers.

If you're going to write in the same style as this post, I would suggest a proof-read before you send it to anyone...

Although googler's post may seem a little harsh, it would be good practice to check your posts before posting.

As you will read in Writers and Artists Yearbook, many publishers either don't accept unsolicited manuscripts or will only deal with a literary agent. Those which accept unsolicited ms will state how many chapters they require.

Just send to one publisher at a time and be prepared for plenty of rejection slips.
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
