DMP Payment this month

Due to unexpected expenses this month I am having to miss my payment to Stepchange.
I spoke to them this morning and they were excellent and understood. They did say that they would send out notifications to my creditors.
Would it be best if I wrote or emailed them just to explain why I had to miss this months payments.
This will be the only time I would ever need to do this.

Do you mean write/email Step Change or your creditors?
Either way I wouldn't bother. You have already explained to SC over the phone and they will notify your creditors.

I had to do a mis-month earlier in the yr (with stepchange as well) I just let them take care of the creditors and i had no problem from any of the creditors. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Sorry, I spoke to Stepchange this morning and told them that the money I paid them this month I needed back. They were really helpful and will credit my bank account.
What I was trying to explain is that should I write to my creditors to explain why there will be no payment this month. Just out of politeness really.
What Stepchange did say was that if this happened four times in a year my account would be cancelled.0 -
It will make no difference to your creditors whether you write to them or not, Stepchange will notify them on your behalf and that will sort things out. You may get a few letters, but once they receive next months payment it will settle down again, I would not worry about it too much.
Been here for a long time and don't often post0
