Its all over!!! thank you lazydaisy for all your help.
My husband had his reconvened meeting today and they have settled. Basically the director of the board has admitted that the CEO has messed it all up and it should not have got this far. They have agreed he shouldn't have got the sack but as there is too much water under the bridge and too much animosity between my husband and the CEO, it is impossible for him to get his job back. They offer him a settlement which he accepted. basically his rep told him as he wouldn't have got as much as what he did in tribunal and it would have been added stress to him and us as a family waiting for it to be all over with. Im glad it has all finished now. The board has apologised and will write him a glowing reference. :-)0 -

Thank goodness they had robust legal advice!
Great news! Hope he can find another job soon.
DxI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0
